UNDERSTANDING WALK-IN SOULS. ABOUT SOULS WHO CHANGE PLACES
Walk-in souls are souls who choose to incarnate in an established body rather than a newborn baby. These souls take on the personality of a pre-existing life. A walk-in birth occurs when there is a contractual agreement between two souls to switch places. One soul leaves the human body and returns to the spiritual realm. The second soul walks into the physical body and takes over the current life halfway through. This transition may be immediate, OR sometimes the souls share the body for a period of time. This allows the soul who wants to leave to hang around for a while to offer the new soul an introduction or session about the life it will be taking over.
WHY A SOUL SWAPPING HAPPENS
Walk-in souls do not steal or kidnap someone else’s body. A walk-in occurs when two souls agree to switch places, creating a soul contract. The original soul makes the decision it wants out of a life and pulls together with another soul to continue the flow of life. The walk-in will stay in its body and continue to experience the personality already established.Reasons why a soul decides to leave the physical and return to spirit can vary. When the soul has reached or exceeded its goal of incarnation in the body, it may choose a new experience somewhere else and choose to leave the body. It is not unusual for souls to “renegotiate” their soul contracts one or more times during their lifetime and continue to live in the body. But in some cases, the soul wants to go all the way out and will offer the body along with its formed personality for another soul to walk in. Other times, a soul will choose to opt out because it feels that the challenge of being human is too difficult and wants to be released from the physical and reflect on its choices, re-evaluating its life plan while in the spiritual realm.
WHEN DO SOUL EXCHANGES HAPPEN?
When a soul decides to leave the physical form, another soul can sign up and take up residence in the body. Both souls must agree for an exchange to occur. The exchange or transfer of souls will usually occur during a trauma in a personality’s life, such as a car accident, major surgery, suicide attempt, episode of depression or other suffering. Sometimes a soul leaves the body at the end of the life stage, giving another soul the opportunity to experience being in a coma or other pre-death experiences. This may explain some terminal patients who do not have family members watching over them at their deathbed.
TRANSIENT WALK-INS
Sometimes a soul “rents” her body to another soul for a short period of time, allowing her to escape from human life for a while. Transient souls will walk in on a human body similar to professional house sitters. The transient walk-in plays house with your family, friends, neighbors, etc. until the original soul returns.
GUEST WALK-IN SOULS
Sometimes a soul will agree to walk in and stay in the body alongside the original soul as partners. This is much like opening your home to a guest, having a roommate or employing a live-in housekeeper. The guest who walks in will agree to inhabit the body together for a variety of reasons. A walk-in may enter as a spectator and only want to shadow your life. This can happen when the original soul is considering leaving the body permanently, but has not made a final decision. Or a guest may come in to help or support the original soul as it recovers from a trauma or takes on a difficult challenge. Sometimes the original soul will serve as an “interviewer” or “on the job trainer” to teach the walk-in for a short period of time before leaving permanently.
DO YOU THINK YOU COULD BE A WALK-IN?
Walk-in souls often struggle to identify with the personality they are taking over. This is because they usually come in when the personality is emotionally damaged or the body is damaged in some way. Walk-in souls also have the responsibility of learning to live among other souls who are the original soul’s life partners (friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, etc.). If you feel alienated from your own being, or have difficulty interacting with the people in your life, you could theoretically possibly be a walk-in.
